Our activities are mainly aimed at meeting the needs of the population of Armenia. We are privately funded. This allows us to conduct independent patient care activities. We oppose the commercialization of emergency operations in the interests of the people.
Current Challenges
Armenia is located in the region that frequently suffers earthquakes and recently went through a war, and the situation remains tense. Armenians are very neglectful toward personal safety, and that ignorance costs us many young lives.
Ordinary people in Armenia do not have basic first aid skills
During the 2020 war, many regular citizens, soldiers, volunteers, and members of the militia died due to lack of knowledge on bleeding control.
What if you get lost in the woods alone?
Soldiers and civilians alike can get lost in the woods and mountains, and the lack of navigation and survival skills can cost them their lives.
Many road traffic accidents end in casualties
Because the people who are near cannot do bleeding control or provide other first aid relief.
Our mission
The mission of the Association of Search and Rescue Clubs NGO is to help form a society, where people are prepared for emergency situations.
- A maximum number of citizens and residents of Armenia must know and respect their natural surroundings
- Training in survival and first aid skills will also prevent panic among citizens
- Everyone must be ready to provide necessary assistance to those in distress
- Cooperation ought to be established between the state and the society
